NOS 1978 AA 6962 North Carolina license plate new old stock

NOS 1978 North Carolina license plate AA 6961. New old stock, brand new unissued original. The original dmv sleeve is torn, old, and brittle. Tag does not lay flat on a table. Just because they are new doesn't mean they will be perfect. Some new ones I've seen have slight scratches in the paint, slight bends on edges, fingerprints from the person that originally painted them, etc. This tag has slight yellowing in the original finish due to age. Slight smudge in between North and Carolina and the border trim just above that and also on the second 6
