NOS 1970 North Carolina license plate LB 2443 new old stock

NOS 1970 North Carolina license plate LB 2443. New old stock, brand new unissued original. Still in it's original dmv envelope, though it is well torn from age. Most of the tags that were in this box this one came in have a slight yellow-ish tint in the finish due to age, nor do they lay flat on a table. Sometimes the waxy paper will be stuck in places to to tag due to age, when this happens it normally will scratch off the tag with your fingernail. I don't normally remove these tags to inspect as it sometimes damages the envelope/wrapper which some people do value. Just because they are new doesn't mean they will be perfect. Some new ones I've seen have slight scratches in the paint, slight bends on edges, fingerprints from the person that originally painted them, etc. This tag does have the slight yellow-ish tint.
